During his 11 years at Guayaki, he received extensive mentorship from many great leaders, including one of CPG’s most visionary sales strategists. With this support, he gained deep experience in how to successfully navigate many channels of trade, from Natural to Grocery to Convenience and Food Service. After Guayaki, his strategic leadership at Biotic Brands was instrumental in tripling sales and quadrupling distribution and retail presence, establishing the brand as a premium category leader.

Mateo’s passion for pioneering disruptive market categories is matched by his commitment to building sales teams and strategies that foster growth, culture, and enduring brands.
